If the hole is at the heel only then I put a bunch of catnip in the toe end and tie the sock into a tight knot to make a big ball of catnip for my Moo cat.
A tiny hole is okay but once it gets bigger than tiny I toss them into the trash or maybe use it for cleaning first...then toss it. (CLEAN socks, of course! )

Do you wear, or have you ever worn, knee-high stockings? I wore knee-highs when I was a kid and through high school and college. Haven't worn them for the past 30 years or so.
Do you have any socks with fun images or bright colors on them? Yep. I have Christmas socks, Halloween socks, socks with cats on them, a pair of Bullwinkle socks and some others that are just brightly colored with fun designs.
If you get a hole in a sock, do you keep wearing it, do you repair it (darn! ), or do you throw the pair away? If the hole is small, I keep wearing them for a while. When it gets big enough for a toe to poke out, I use them for dust rags and eventually throw them away.

When was the last time you walked in a wooded area, and where was it? Three weeks ago tomorrow (Weds) I walked through a forest in Bled, Slovenia while on vacation there. The beauty was stunning. I wish I were there right now!
Have you ever picked up a leaf because you found it pretty or interesting? Countless times, yes! I love nature and am fascinated by leaves. They're so lovely and I like studying their construction, looking at their shapes, their veins, their stems. I like their smell, too.

What was the last snack you consumed? A chunk of a chocolate bar with orange zest. I bought it in Bosnia while on vacation a few weeks ago.

Have you ever eaten an insect? Yes. Most recently, last week. I was walking outdoors and a tiny insect flew into my mouth and I inhaled/swallowed it before I could spit it out. Yuck. That has happened to me at least a dozen times over the years.
