When was the last time you went to a museum? Three years ago maybe.

What kind was it? Mainly paintings

What kind of daily exercise do you do? I walk, do some mild stretching and a few exercises with light weights for arm strength.

What was your favorite game as a kid? Hide n seek.

What is your favorite game now? Getting out of bed.

Did you ever have a pet rabbit? I received one or two for Easter as a kid. They were not especially interesting as pets and they went into hutches in the garage to be raised and eaten with their progeny.

Have you ever eaten fresh caught game or fish? What was it and how was it? Venison....OK, not memorable. It was from deer corpse slung up in a woodshed, a few slices whacked off and pan fried for lunch.

Would you rather have a job you love with low pay or a job you hate with high pay? In the past I had several low-paying jobs that I hated, so either sounds like a benison in comparison!
Would you rather please yourself or society? Myself
Would you rather be the oldest sibling or the youngest? I was the only one, I desperately wanted a sibling and would have settled to be either...even if it were a sister as I reminded God.

Would you rather be an actor or a rock star? A venerable old actor on some cable channel giving ponderous readings from books no one reads any longer.

The latter, the former would certainly kill that favorite song for me in short order.

Would you rather sleep on your stomach or your back? The first is out because I have medical prosthesis that makes it uncomfortable and unwise, I have always slept on my side anyway.

What is your usual bedtime? It has just become 10:30, but I listen to music for about an hour before I fall asleep...then I wake up a couple of hours later and turn it off.

Do you think you are lazy? More and more so....but I think it is more a matter of simply normal age-related decrease of stamina.

What is your Chinese Astrological Sign? Did you unleash a dragon here! I read these questions early just before I wanted to rush out for morning coffee. Despite years of living just north of Chinatown and going there often to shop, etc.; and having a friend who is a doctor of Chinese medicine (and whom I am having coffee with today), I have never bothered to look into this so often mentioned part of the culture. A real lazy bones.

Now, after your assist, I know that it is the Tiger. And I have peeked a bit beyond that on a site....at this point I can only say, hmmmm about the description.

Half a century ago I picked up the latest super-duper coffee table book on regular astrology in a NYC bookstore, and learned that I was a Taurus and that my moon was in Taurus. I mentioned this later to someone who "did" astrology, and she went nuts and said this was a big deal as it was like being a Taurus doubled. What I remembered of the Taurus description, it did sound like something unpleasantly excessive.

Oddly (ominously?) this Tiger business is *****-footing around some of the same territory. It sounds like dangerous territory for geriatric excess.

Do you have any magazine subscriptions? Oh, thank you!!!!!!! I have one and it is up for renewal, and I realized when I read this that I have never renewed it and dug out the form from under a pile of papers.

I was walking but it just got too hard because of the heat. My new plan: I joined the Y and plan on going 3 times a week and when it gets cooler also walking again

"Sorry" the board game and Jacks

It's still "Sorry" or Trivial Pursuit

Yes once but I don't want to talk about it

Oh yes, both. Since I grew up on the coast I ate lots of different types of fish/seafood but my favorite is Flounder and Shrimp. And as far as game, I was once married to a deer hunter.

Recipe of the Day:
Cherries Jubilee(From AR) This is an easy and impressive dessert

1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup orange juice
1 pound Bing or other dark, sweet cherries, rinsed and pitted (or use frozen pitted cherries)
1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon cherry extract
1/4 cup brandy
3 cups vanilla bean ice cream

Whisk together the sugar and cornstarch in a wide saucepan. Stir in the water and orange juice; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking until thickened. Stir in the cherries and orange zest, return to a boil, then reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. While the cherries are cooking, spoon the ice cream into serving bowls.
Remove the cherries from the heat, and stir in the cherry extract. Pour in the brandy, and ignite with a long lighter. Gently shake the pan until the blue flame has extinguished itself. Spoon the cherries over the bowls of ice cream.

What kind of daily exercise do you do?

Cardio 3 - 4 times a week. Ab stuff, arm stuff a few times a week. Random other spontaneous reps of things (examples: calve raises while brushing my teeth or lunges to get to one point to another) If I don't feel like doing much, but still want to be able to know that I did something then I'll walk 30 min. to an hour.

I do something at least every day. Except when I don't!

I always really liked Monopoly. Nintendo. Others.

Nothing currently. I'm not on any game kicks at the moment.
