Today's Sensible Questions:
Which of your senses - sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch - do you wish you had to the level of an animal's and which animal(s)?
Sight, particularly of a hawk or other bird of prey that has spectacular eyesight.
Which sense would you be willing to give up for a day or so to see what it's like to live without? Taste
What do you imagine that would be like? Not much different than my usual day. In the grand scheme of things I almost don't care about tasting. Food doesn't really mean much to me (other than being essential for surviving! )

Bonus:
Choose one of each - 3 trips, all expenses paid to:
-California or Florida?
-London or Paris?
-Sydney or Tokyo?
Tell us a souvenir or experience you'd like to have from at least one of those places:
I'd love to go back to the Gulf of Mexico again. The ocean was much calmer than the Atlantic usually is.

Do you remember the machines for testing bad TV tubes?

-If so, did you ever use one?
Definitely before my time. Nowadays, it seems like when your TV or other electronics go kaput, you throw them out and get new ones. Nothing lasts anymore.
Foodie Questions:
Even if I lost my sense of taste/smell, I'd probably still eat the same things I currently do
-But I would especially miss nothing.

What foods do you like for their:
-Saltiness?
-Sweetness?
-Vinegariness/acidity?
-Other?
Just french fries for their saltiness.
What foods do you like for texture and what is it about the texture you like?

Are there foods you don't like because of the texture? If so, how so?
None to both of the above.

Today's Sensible Questions:
Which of your senses - sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch - do you wish you had to the level of an animal's and which animal(s)?
I'd like to see clearly underwater without goggles, but also without fish eyes.

Which sense would you be willing to give up for a day or so to see what it's like to live without? Hearing.
What do you imagine that would be like? I think you'd have to be a lot more aware of your
surroundings anywhere and especially
driving. Without sign language I'd have to carry a
notepad and pencil, if i want to understand almost anything anyone else said. I would miss music.

Bonus:
Choose one of each - 3 trips, all expenses paid to:
-California or Florida?
California.
-London or Paris? Been to London, so I'd see Paris.
-Sydney or Tokyo? Sydney. G'day.
Tell us a souvenir or experience you'd like to have from at least one of those places:
Train tour of Napa. Paris, landmarks like Eiffel and good food. Sydney, the beach and harbor.

Extra:
Do you remember the machines for testing bad TV tubes? Vaguely.
-If so, did you ever use one? Nope

Foodie Questions:
Even if I lost my sense of taste/smell, I'd probably still eat __oranges _______
-But I would especially miss __pizza__________

What foods do you like for their:
-Saltiness? Pizza, olives and pickles, cheeseburgers, French fries
-Sweetness? Anything with chocolate, ice cream, baked goods, pies and cobblers, especially with a bit of tartness.
-Vinegariness/acidity? Salad dressing, sour kraut, pickles, citrus.
-Other? I see one other category could have been spicy.

What foods do you like for texture and what is it about the texture you like?
Soft serve ice cream is especially smoooooth.
I also sometimes like an ice cream with a
crunch in it, like almonds. Goes nicely with the ice cream.
The crunch of chips, trail mix,
croutons, celery. Fries that can be crispy or a bit soft.

Are there foods you don't like because of the texture? If so, how so?
Soggy bread. Even in stuffing or bread pudding. I seek out the drier portions.
Pickles that aren't crunchy.
I like shredded coconut, but the texture is a bit off imo.

Wishing you all a good weekend with the texture you want.
