How horrible this week has been. First the shootings here in Denver/Lakewood (where I used to live in Belmar), Now the fires here in Boulder and now Betty White has died. What a horrible ending to 2021
I too, was sad to hear of Betty White's passing. Too bad she didn't get to see her 100th but she did have a good life. She sure looked good for 99!
I'm thinking how the weather has been in the upper northeast and the weekends forecast for those up in NY and quite possibly out to watch ball dropping later tonight. At least they won't be freezing their butts off. That might be the only positive thing thus far.
I'm definitely thinking of those out in the north west region with all that snow and super cold temps. I've heard on the news it's spreading eastwards . DH just said its about time. Tsk. Smh. Gee, thanks hubby. Our body temps have gone to polar opposites. I think my blood thinned out. Nah, slightly hypothyroid. Hubby had one night feeling that way. Do you think he'd remember how he felt? Obviously not as much. . It's ok. I'll get him back at summertime. lol.
The area of the county that may get hit hard later today and tonight and all that could be lost. We are days from closing on a house there as sellers and for once for the safety and well being of ourselves and friends, 2 that are on CD, may Murphy take a trip to a deserted island in the middle of the ocean.
What a switcheroo. We usually see more snow than Washington, DC area but it looks like they'll be seeing more snow, or so the weather and other news venues seem to be reporting.
Thinking I might change the calendar today. Might wait until tomorrow tho'
I still haven’t changed my calendar yet, either. Are you still writing on the January part of last year’s calendar? I am!
