Today’s Question:

the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ?

Do you like or dislike either of those smells ? They make me sick, the smoke drives me up a wall gagging.

Today’s Question:
Do you watch/listen to “talk” shows with a monologue, interview(s), and musical guest ? I watch some of the English ones (Graham Norton is one that comes to mind), but am not really a fan of that type of show.
If so, which segment do you prefer/like best:

Today’s Question:
Do you watch/listen to “talk” shows with a monologue, interview(s), and musical guest ? Watched the last couple years of Late Night with Conan O'Brien - he was very popular in Finland for some reason.
If so, which segment do you prefer/like best:
the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ? Can't really remember what I liked best
Extra Credit:
Have you ever found yourself getting emotional at the conclusion of a tv series
(when the shows ends permanently, with no more episodes being made) ? Little bit....
Bonus:
How long or short are your fingernails:
Are they shorter than, longer than, just slightly
or even with (end at) fingertips ?
Just for Fun:
Have you ever smoked a cigar or (tobacco) pipe ? Smoked a cigar a couple times at New Year's parties
Do you like or dislike either of those smells ? Can't stand the smell of either of them now because it sets off my asthma
Today’s Question:
Do you watch/listen to “talk” shows with a monologue, interview(s), and musical guest ? Once in a while I watch the Tonight Show or David Letterman, but as a rule I prefer classic movies, news, reality programming or documentaries.
If so, which segment do you prefer/like best:
the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ? I usually enjoy the monologue best. Some of the celebrity interviews are frivolous, boring or merely vehicles to promote someone's latest film.
Extra Credit:
Have you ever found yourself getting emotional at the conclusion of a tv series
(when the shows ends permanently, with no more episodes being made) ? No, not really. I did make a point of watching the last week of Conan O'Brien Tonight Shows because I'd always liked his offbeat humor. I didn't see the final episodes of M.A.S.H., Friends, Cheers or any of those other popular series. Since I worked nights, I never got into prime time TV.
Bonus:
How long or short are your fingernails:
Are they shorter than,
longer than,
or even with (end at) fingertips ? Right now they're even with or shorter because my nails are naturally thin, I've been doing a lot of cooking and housework, and they tend to break. Even in the best circumstances I have never been able to grow long nails.
Just for Fun:
Have you ever smoked a cigar or (tobacco) pipe ? Yes, I tried a cigar once when a man at work became a father and was handing out cigars. I think I also took a puff on my (then) boyfriend's pipe.
Do you like or dislike either of those smells ? Pipe tobacco is probably the least offensive. I don't care for cigar smoke but unlit cigars have a pleasant woody, leather aroma.
Nice maze. It reminds me a little bit of a pinball game. Thanks, cloven!
Happy Monday December 22, everybody-and welcome to QOTD.
Today’s Question: Do you watch/listen to “talk” shows with a monologue, interview(s), and musical guest ? If so, which segment do you prefer/like best: the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ?
I used to watch The Tonight Show With Jay Leno but I lost interest when NBC fired him. Most of the time I only watched the first 30 minutes. In January, 2012 I got to see a taping of his show and that was a real thrill for me.
Extra Credit: Have you ever found yourself getting emotional at the conclusion of a tv series (when the shows ends permanently, with no more episodes being made) ? - Never.
Bonus: How long or short are your fingernails: Are they shorter than, longer than, or even with (end at) fingertips ?
Short. I had a manicure about a week ago.
Just for Fun: Have you ever smoked a cigar or (tobacco) pipe ? Do you like or dislike either of those smells ? - No. I strongly dislike tobacco smoke of any kind.
