[quote=cloven;37728627]Happy Monday December 22, everybody-and welcome to QOTD.

Today’s Question:
Do you watch/listen to “talk” shows with a monologue, interview(s), and musical guest ? Not very often and now that Colbert is gone
If so, which segment do you prefer/like best:
the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ?
Probably the monologue.
Extra Credit:
Have you ever found yourself getting emotional at the conclusion of a tv series
(when the shows ends permanently, with no more episodes being made) ?
Sigh. Loved loved loved Everybody Loves Raymond.
Bonus:
How long or short are your fingernails:
Are they shorter than,
longer than,
or even with (end at) fingertips ?
All different lengths now.
Just for Fun:
Have you ever smoked a cigar or (tobacco) pipe ?
Do you like or dislike either of those smells ?
Pipe I think I liked the feeling the best.

Have a safe and secure day, C-D peoples. Thanks Cloven sweetie you too.

Kill me now. I was supposed to get off of work at 6am because I have to be back at 3pm but I was so busy I couldn't get out until 7am. I only slept about 4 hours because the phone woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. There was an arrest at about 230am. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. I was on my way to get something to drink and I glanced in the room at a patient and the way she looked made me do a double take. She wasn't breathing so I started compressions and yelled to call a code. We got her back but what did we save? I have to be out at the rental tomorrow at 10am so I might not see you tomorrow. I may have the shorties over night and I'd love to take them ice skating tomorrow. Fun.

I use to but like so many others I lost interest when Johnny retired.

the monologue, the interview, the music-or other parts of the show ?

I liked the segment right after the monologue and before the interviews.

Nope. Most shows run one more season than they should and get real awful when they run out of material.

I will smoke fish. I will smoke cheese. When I had my 67 Gran Prix I smoked the competition. However I have never smoked a cigar, cigs or a pipe.

Do you like or dislike either of those smells ?

Smoking fish and cheese smells great. Cigars, cigs and pipes smell yucky.

That depends on the show, monologue is the first choice, interviews the second.

Yes. There were few really good TV shows I wish they would never end ...

Bonus:

They are my own (I despise plastic nails), not very long - maybe 3-4mm longer than fingertips.

Just for Fun:

Not very ladylike. I did try cigarettes for few years. Quit cold turkey. Hate the smell since.

Do you like or dislike either of those smells ?

Some cigars or pipe tobacco smells really nice at the time someone smokes them, but I hate the smell of tobacco lingering in a room the next day. I have a neighbor who smokes and who I visit frequently, but I strip all my clothes in my garage before I enter my home again. I wash all and take shower. I can't stand the smell on my clothes or my body.
