Happy Monday December 15, everybody-and welcome to QOTD.

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ?
If so, symmetrically (down the middle)
or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ?

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ?

Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ?
Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”)
If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ?

Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ?
If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ?

Happy Monday December 15, everybody-and welcome to QOTD. Yay!!!

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ?
Yes, I still have hair atop my head, but I usually don't part it.

If so, symmetrically (down the middle)
Whatever the wind blows

or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ?
Sometimes too...

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ?
yes.

Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ?
Probably when I was younger.

Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”)
Not really. All the "magic" tricks have explanation.

If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ?
Probably not.

Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ?
Long! I like my tea black. I mean coffee black. Most of the time the tea is too cold and I have to gently reheat it in a microwave.

If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ?
Generally, I use loose leaves, but when I use tea bags, I remove them before drinking my tea.

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ?
If so, symmetrically (down the middle) I part down the middle
or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ? My daughter, on the other hand, has annoying hair that has to be parted at the side because she has a double crown - never know what to do with her hair

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ?I don't think so

Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ? Just card tricks
Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”)
If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ? I've done a few in front of people

Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ? If its a tea bag a minute or two usually, if its looseleaf tea I wait 3 or 4 minutes before pouring a cup (but then the second cup from the pot is brewed for much longer
If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ? Remove it! Urgh who could drink a cup of tea with the bag still in there?!

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ? I part WITH it on an increasing basis.
If so, symmetrically (down the middle)
or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ? My natural part is on my left.

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ? No.

Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ? I've tried to make money NOT disappear.
Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”) Nope.
If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ? n/a

Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ? A few minutes.
If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ? I've done both.
Have a good 'un.

Yep, but people do. I even saw people drinking tea with the spoon in their cup! They better pay attention, not to take out their eye with it. Or stir the tea making loud noise by touching the sides of the cup with the spoon while stirring.

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ?
Yup
If so, symmetrically (down the middle)
or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ?
Slightly to the left

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ?
Not as far as I know.

Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ?
Yup, when I was a kid
Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”)
I used to - don't think I remember now.
If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ?
Only in front of a few kids when they were very young and impressionable!

Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ?
Two or three minutes.
If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ?
Always remove it! I can't imagine leaving it in the cup!

Thanks cloven!

Happy Monday to all.

Today’s Question:
If you have hair atop your head, do you part it ?
Yes
If so, symmetrically (down the middle)
or asymmetrically (off-center, to one side) ?
Asymmetrically because it looks better on a round face like mine.

Bonus:
Have you seen a beaver lodge or dam (in person) ?
No, I don't think I ever have.
Extra Credit:
Have you ever attempted a magic trick ?
Not really. I tend to be klutzy.
Do you know any card-or coin-tricks ? (I mean “sleight-of-hand”, not “cheating”)
If so, have you done that in front of anyone/for an audience ?
No, I would be much too nervous to perform any skill that requires manual dexterity in front of people because I would screw it up for sure.
Just for Fun:
If you drink tea, how long (after pouring the hot water) do you let it brew/steep ?
I let it steep for 3-4 minutes at most because I don't like strong tea.
If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ?
Always remove it.

Thanks, cloven, and thanks for the maze!

If using a teabag, do you remove it before drinking, or do you leave it in the cup ?

Leave it in the mug. There's no saucer with a mug.
