Good morning peevers.

I'm pleased to say that after yesterday's truly horrible weather it's chilly but dry and sunny.

That's worked out well because I'm soon off to go pick up Miss J from her University city, Bristol, to bring her home for Christmas.

Now then, which way to go?

Round here is not the issue as I take back roads round the market towns that may be busier than usual.

The main issue is Bristol itself. If I go my usual route, which avoids the city centre, I head right by one of the biggest out of town shopping complexes in Southern England.

I've got some local knowledge from when I used to visit all the hospitals, I've got a Sat Nav (GPS) and most importantly I've got a map and a fully functioning brain! (GPS is no good without a brain.)

So my dear peevers, the POTD is;

Which way to go?

Trust your instinct, right or wrong, it's where you're meant to be!

Which way to go?

Our biggest problem in which way to go is the road construction detours that sometimes get's you zig zagging all over the place.
Sometimes there are entertainment venues where you want to avoid the traffic and then have to find an alternate route that can be frustrating in areas you're not familair with.

I think I could use some courage today. Hope the Wizard can help

Depends what you want: the scenic road, the shopping road or the fastest road

My internal GPS would naturally steer me in the path of the shopping routes. Imagine. That.

Our town in fairly small. It's bisected by a river, so there are only so many ways to get from one side to the other. I usually take one route to go *to* the other side of town, but a different route to come *back*. It has to do with right hand turns and stoplights. However, if it's quitting time on a weekday, the usual route back is dreadful so the first route becomes better.

GPS can't tell you that!

Usually it depends on my frame of mind. Most times I will opt for the back roads unless I'm in a hurry. I'm not fond of traffic and the older I get the less fond I am. I prefer to smell the roses along the way with the window down while singing along with Brazil '66 CDs as loud as I can.

Which way to go?
I have always found in my life that most people will tell me "where to go" without any trouble.

The boss at work will tell me where to go....................
A home the wife will tell me where to go ......................
If I stop at a bar the bartender will tell me where to go.............
When I complain to the clerk at the store about something, they will tell me where to go....................
