I am not knocking just trying to understand? Some names I see on every thread. I actually wonder if several are posting under 1 screen name?

Me I am unemployed that's my story. I came back to CD after a 4 year? break when I lost my job.
My post count is very high because the first two years I was here I played the word game threads every day. You can post one answer every 60 seconds, so if you play for an hour, you can make up to 60 posts during that time. So the post count adds up very quickly.

Since I became a mod, I now spend most of my C-D time behind the scenes instead of posting.

Great answers some I suspected others I didn't, as I don't play word games or game at all for that much.

You can go into a poster profile and click on 'statistics' and see the posting history of that poster. Then you can see the reason why their posts add up.

wow I can't believe how many people post while they are at work!!!! Does the boss know this......Being a former long term management person, I certainly don't believe in posting while being paid by an employer .... just saying. That sure explains how some persons have large numbers of posts every day and the person isn't retired - but they might be just tired, of working that is.

I'm at work and posting. I'm on my (unpaid) lunch break. I am more about quality of a post instead of quantity.

I'm talking about those who are not on break of any kind! If you watch persons who I think are still working yet posting during the day when they probably are working, by the number of posts, they surely can't be on break all day.

I've also noticed on the few threads I go to, that some posters who work hard all day are constantly
posting all day and night.

I operate my business from my home, and split my time between short business trips and computer work. I check in and out of CD during the day, and if something spikes my interest, I post. For a long time, I only posted in my state, but recently have ventured out in to other forums, but not the chat forums. I've seen a lot of people come and go on here. I didn't join CD to make friends, but mostly to help inform newcomers about our state. Seems my post count is pretty low for being on here so long, as compared to others.

I am at a loss to explain the extreme posters, so I can't help you there. Some people show obvious signs of childishness and narcissism in that they go ballistic if criticized. Well, we human beings are often strange.
