I'm grateful our youngest daughter called last night to extend an invitation for DH to stay at her house tonight as she didn't want him driving home (for close to 26 miles) in the bad weather after work and back to work tomorrow morning. Thank you daughter!
I am grateful daily for so many things. It is the little, tiniest things that make me happy..a smile on a stranger, a bird singing,helping someone in need,being around my family,volunteering over and over again and the list goes on.
My wonderful neighbor. We've already planned what we are both going to cook Sunday and will exchange food. We have got into the habit of exchanging food. Since these are both small families it helps out variety wise a lot. Plus, we both enjoy sharing.
She is doing breakfast burritos and chicken salad with pecans. I am doing meatloaf, macaroni salad and deviled eggs.
I'm glad to learn my parents' stories. They are both senior citizens. My mother has said she wishes she ahd paid more attention to her parents' and grandparents' stories. She has recently written some of her reminisces down. I'll be reading them today and keeping them forever.
