Ya know, Almrausch ... you are right. It's pretty easy to forget how difficult others have it when we aren't struggling. It wasn't so long ago I was in a pretty bad way but my faith that things would change got me through and miraculously the tide turned. It's going to allow me to pay it forward again. I'm grateful that I've been given that opportunity, once again.

Interesting thing, these peaks and valleys of our life.

Thanks for reminding me about the time change. I completely forgot. I'm too tired now to re-set the clocks. I'll do it tomorrow. Oh wait. It IS tomorrow.

Your post reminds me to check in with the local food bank since I'm new to the area. I'm grateful that I don't need the food bank and able to assist.

I am quite grateful today that I taught all my kids to cook, because today one of my sons will cook a whole meal from appetizers to dessert.

Today I am simply happy and grateful to be alive. It's a beautiful day out there, and I plan to be out there in it when I finish spending time here with y'all.

May all your days be blessed, your pantries as full as your hearts, and the love of God in your lives!

I'm thankful for modern medicine.

People used to have to suffer with mostly ineffective treatments and medicines. Now that health care is based on more genuine knowledge, care is much more likely to cure.
