Finding what you lost after buying a replacement.

It happens here too. Fortunately it's usually something small and inexpensive. Thankfully, Home Depot and Lowes are only a mile away.

So true. Don't you just hate it when the next day you found the lost item after purchasing a replacement and you can't return it because you used it and it shows.

That would be John again. I wanted to wax my car on Thanksgiving and I found multiples of almost every thing I needed to work on my car. Is he disorganized or lazy? I'm more of a I hate clutter so lets throw away something that I have needed later.

Things in our house seem to magically disappear fairly often. It makes me crazy. DH claims I have an evil twin who does it, but I say it's the Dust Bunnies. They steal absolutely everything! LOL
Yeah, it happens here all the time, so trips to the store(s) because it sometimes takes 2 or 3 stores to find whatever it was that has vanished. Of course one of the first places I look for small things is all the kitty cat hidey holes, because in this house, they are both clepto~cats!
Jezer and Baldrick, the pics are devestating, and I can sympathize having dealt with that kind of things many times in my life. Where we are now is very high ground, and all the water runs down to the creek, which is in a very deep gulley. But even with the grey skies, both of you took excellent pics! Great eye, both of you!

Yes Jezer, Baldrick, & Joy, please be safe!

Whenever things used to go missing I always blamed it on a robber. LoL! But now we have a little 4 y.o. living in the house, that gets blamed for everything that we can't find.
