Good luck Jezer. That sounds like quite a task.

I am pretty much media free. I only have a few DVD's and some Cd's. I hate that they change all the time. It all comes from moving into an RV to travel. I had to get rid of most things...then again I hate clutter

I miss my cassette tapes and I hate DVD's.

I have a bunch of VHS tapes, albums and cassettes that I still play from time to time.. besides 300 dvds! My hubby keeps telling me we should donate the tapes but some of them belonged to my mom (she passed on) and although she's been gone since 1997 it's hard for me to part with them.

I am a technological failure. I only learn what I need to learn. One of my Dad's brothers kept an old movie camera, and projector. A few years ago, I saw myself and my sister and some other cousins at a a very young age (I think I was about two years old), at that wedding. It's really amazing and beautiful to watch, like going back into real time. My uncle paid someone to have a conversion done, and it was well worth it. The results are family treasures that give future generations a look at the past..

It's a good peeve Jezer...and I know you won't throw them out, as so often happens (but not on this thread--we all seem to have some pretty special moments we want to hang on to)..

Old LPs are worth their weight in GOLD! I actually forgot about and missed hearing that snap, crackle, pop of an old vinyl! Licorice pizza. The hoarders say hold on to the old stuff!
I agree, there's nothing quite like vinyl.

Around here people put them into an auction. They always sell but what the buyers do with them, I have no idea. I think they put them on ebay or find some other way to dispose of them for a profit.
