Ah doc is yearly for me usually..........and thankfully all good when I get the annual bloodwork...............

Dentists --well, I love my dentist and he is very conservative, thankfully!few bumps in road but last few years I had to pay 10k for stuff done!! Not him though. Had another dentist. Her cleanings were 220.00!! I have had so much dental work....When I was in my teens I had braces on twice !so my teeth are nice and straight! but man, I have a million dollar smile LOL after all the work done LOL>..

I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned though!! Don't forget to floss everyone!!!

It's silly, because a problem caught early is easier to cure.

I think a lot of men are this way. My father died because he wouldn't go back in for his Doctor visits. His death could have been avoided.

My DH hates the doctor but he is a dinosaur and he believes the man is supposed to take care of his family...which is me. He goes for me....so he doesn't leave me sooner than expected

Yeah, I just had to go to the doctor yesterday for a bladder infection.......I get so impatient waiting to go back to see the doctor and then more waiting for him to actually show up. I love my doctor, but I sure wish I never had to see him again!! And the dentist.....well, don't get me started!

Doctors, dentists don't like any of them...I think it stems from my childhood and the bad experience I had.

I strongly dislike hospitals, but I go to a clinic when I see doctors, so it helps. I missed going to my doctor for so long he retired and I didn't know it. Now I have to go on a regular basis. I suppose it's better than dying.

Having to visit the doc or dentist

It's not so much a peeve as it is to having to visit so many of them now. Everyone is a specialist today. I remember as a kid the doctor did everything including house calls. Now you have to see separate doctors for a cold, brain malfunction, sinus allergies, heart, kidneys, liver, hip, knees, feet, testicals, the list goes on and on and the bills pile up and up. And now maybe no more QOTD, sheesh, the stress keeps comming.

Yes. Without insurance, a whole lot of us aren't able to get the medical check ups we need.

I don't mind going...I mind the overbooking and the wait. Good peeve, Jezer.
The ob/gyn I went to when I was pregnant used to double book all the time - a 1 1/2 hour wait was the 'norm'
