Good morning peevers.

I'm trying to keep a smile on my face but my dog is not well and old age is creeping up on her. Off to the vets (veterinarian) again this morning.

As for tthe POTD, I was reading a recipe and although an ingredient was listed, it wasn't listed as to how to cook it in the recipe itself.

Also, have you ever read an instruction book and can't for the life of you figure it out?

Today's peeve;

Poorly written instructions.

Default Hope your day gets better....

Your old girl is lucky to have you...and other days I'm sure you are the lucky one. Been there...may her journey into old age be bearable and as painfree as it can at their age. Good luck.

I hate it when I need to flip through three other languages in a manual just to get to the English instructions. Then, when I get to the English, they appear to have been written by someone who speaks another language.
I have definitely thought, more than once, that I could make a career out of rewriting assembly instructions or operating manuals in a logical way.

Looks like the cat wants attention and the dog is not interested! Best wishes for your dear old dog. I have a 20yr old CRF cat that's hanging in there, more bad days than better days. She is lying next to me at the moment and that's the reason I'm on the couch with the small Mac laptop that is annoying.

I've never taken instructions for anything off the internet and not surprised to find incorrect spelling and bad grammar on the internet. A lot of it could be rushing and lack of editing and there's also the dumbing-down in the USA. Finding something like that in a book is a sad thing and scary. Imagine the possibilities of wrong instructions on medications.

You won't believe what just happened between above paragraph and this one. I heard a hiss, looked up and saw one big tabby on the bar between kitchen & dining. Quickly looked for the other big boy and he was in the cat tree. So went to see what tabby was doing and .... .... his claw was stuck in the thingy on top of the betta bowl and in effort to pull free he was dragging it, had already pulled it more than two feet and it was on the edge. This is a new thing for him being interested in the fish, just started last night. So now I have to figure out something else for the bowl top or say goodbye to Lavender Blue (the betta).

Phew! Now I have to go pee and get some breakfast!
