Good morning everyone
Hope your Saturday is off to a good start.

Lets get right to . . .

Today's Questions:

You just got tapped by a new political party to run for any office of your choice, which seat would you run for?

What would be one thing you’d pledge to do?

In Plain Sight

What was the last thing you ‘lost’ that was sitting in plain sight?

Where was it?

Where is the most ‘unique’ place you have found a misplaced item?

What (or who) was the last thing you saw where you wanted to shout “MY EYES! MY EYES!”

Just For Fun

Have you ever had a dream or premonition that an event was going to happen and it did?

What was it?

Today in History:

1439- Kissing is banned in England (to stop germs from spreading)
1790- The District of Columbia, or Washington, D.C., was established as the permanent seat of the United States Government.
1935- 1st automatic parking meter in U.S. installed, Oklahoma City OK
1951- Novel "Catcher in Rye" by J. D. Salinger published
1969- Apollo 11, carrying 1st men to land on Moon, launched

Word of the Day:

re·lax·a·tion/ri-lak-sāSHən/ Noun
1. The state of being free from tension and anxiety.
2. Recreation or rest, esp. after a period of work.

Today is:

Pole Position

Today's Questions:

Not going to happen. I won't run for a flight. I won't run to catch a bus. I won't run to make it to the store before they close. So....I for sure won't run for office.

What would be one thing you’d pledge to do?
If I was elected anyway I would pledge to do as little as possible. I would have to take several all expenses paid trips to investigate the most efficient way to do as little as possible.

In Plain Sight

What was the last thing you ‘lost’ that was sitting in plain sight?
Anything I lose will not be sitting in plain sight. It will find a way to scurry off behind or under something.

Where was it?
Not sitting plain sight. that is for sure.

Where is the most ‘unique’ place you have found a misplaced item?
Once, while working on my car I went inside to get something to drink. When I got back to the car I could not find a wrench I had been using. Looked all over. Finally had to find another one to use. That night as I was getting something out of the fridge I spotted the wrench in the fridge.

What (or who) was the last thing you saw where you wanted to shout “MY EYES! MY EYES!”
Besides when shopping at Walmart at 2am? Hmmmm. Can not come up with anything.

Just For Fun

Have you ever had a dream or premonition that an event was going to happen and it did?
I hope not. My dreams tend to be rather strange.

What was it?

Where is the most ‘unique’ place you have found a misplaced item?

Plead the fifth!! Probably on CD too!

Just For Fun

Today's Questions:

You just got tapped by a new political party to run for any office of your choice, which seat would you run for? I would decline to run.

In Plain Sight

What was the last thing you ‘lost’ that was sitting in plain sight? Probably my glasses.

Where was it? I'm always losing my glasses & finding them in many different places. I come by it naturally. My dad once lost his glasses and ended up buying a new pair. He found the old ones in a bag of birdseed. My mother once found hers in the fridge.

What (or who) was the last thing you saw where you wanted to shout “MY EYES! MY EYES!” My cats are destructive. They knock things over all the time. There are windows set high in the walls in the basement with deep windowsills where I've set things. Last night I found they'd knocked down & broken several things.

Just For Fun

Have you ever had a dream or premonition that an event was going to happen and it did? Yes, not a happy one.

What was it? I once had a dream a friend had died. I saw him in the coffin and closed the top. While he didn't die, he did move to Los Angeles. He's come home a couple times but has changed and we're no longer friends.

I hope none of you have any sad premonitions. Enjoy your day!

What would be one thing you’d pledge to do? I prefer not to hate on anyone or anything right now. Too early.

In Plain Sight

What was the last thing you ‘lost’ that was sitting in plain sight? I came home from work and lost my insulin somewhere between the car and the house. I checked both and everywhere in between.

Where was it? It remains unfound.

Where is the most ‘unique’ place you have found a misplaced item? I used to hide things, so I look under the bed and in cupboards, etc.

What (or who) was the last thing you saw where you wanted to shout “MY EYES! MY EYES!”

Hmm, nothing fazes me.

Just For Fun

Have you ever had a dream or premonition that an event was going to happen and it did?

All the time. In many ways and in many contexts. Sometimes, I actually allow my intuition free reign, just to see what happens. Once I knew it was my bro when the phone rang, and then I picked up the phone and said Hi <...>, then when he proceeded to tell me his art project, I asked him is it a <...> and again was right. He got freaked out. But then... I have always been strange.
What was it?

Today in History:

1790- The District of Columbia, or Washington, D.C., was established as the permanent seat of the United States Government. WHATEVER.
1935- 1st automatic parking meter in U.S. installed, Oklahoma City OK Those durn Okies!
1951- Novel "Catcher in Rye" by J. D. Salinger published 6th grade book reports in the making!

I love that word.
Have a day with plenty of relaxation, everyone.

Official City Sign Remover. My job will be to remove all political (and commercial) signs stuck in medians and along the roadsides. For each sign, I'm paid $100. My slogan: "Go ahead, plant a new bunch of signs the day after I clean up after you. Make me rich!"

In Plain Sight

What was the last thing you ‘lost’ that was sitting in plain sight?

Where was it?

The coffee creamer. It was in the fridge. Right in front of me.

Where is the most ‘unique’ place you have found a misplaced item?

jigsaw puzzle pieces that were dropped in the toilet by my cat. Why kitty? Why?

What (or who) was the last thing you saw where you wanted to shout “MY EYES! MY EYES!”

A very tubby older man at the beach in a speedo-ish bathing suit.

Just For Fun

Actually, I've had that happen a few times. Never events of importance, but very spooky anyway. Things like dreaming that I'm walking down a street I've never been to before and seeing distinct things like signs in a store window. Then, a few days later, I actually walk down that street and see the sign.

Last thing I couldnt find when it was right there all the time....was an installation contract from work All along it was under the keyboard of the computer on my desk, and it was there because I got called away from the desk and didnt want to leave a customers name or address out in the open. Duh!
I have dreams of things that are going to happen lots of times....and they do. The one Ill never forget was a radio station contest, I had the right answer to a question but was the wrong caller the next day. Ugh!
And isnt every day a 'be silly' day??
