If I'm out with our 3 year old Gdaughter and have my wife's Droid.... I let the kid handle it. She knows it inside and out. Which I do not like. We might eventually find these things truly are harmful!

Yeah that's what happens to me as well

Been wanting a smart phone or an I Phone here now for a while....then I just struggle with the fact I never use my phone except for calls. I don't know that I want or have the desire to spend that much time on my phone..and secondly having to pay for a data plan I may or may not ever use to its potential....
I see people with those phones and they are addicted and can hardly ever put them down...I mean really??

Uh-oh. This is bad. I'll DM Tek and see if he can provide current links.

Strange that the links decided to not work for PJ8.

Anyway here they are again.

Grocery app: Grocery iQ | AppBrain Android Market

Bar code app: Barcode Scanner | AppBrain Android Market

Both are free and there are other, similar apps out there that will do the same. These are just the ones I ended up with. From within the grocery app you choose scan and the bar code app opens and you scan the codes on products and the grocery app will put them in a list.

I did download this one for groceries, but I've not had any time to look at it:

Mighty Grocery Shopping Lite for Android | AppBrain.com
