Woe is me as I'm going to be without the internet for a week.
Oh, no! Just reading that gives me the heebie-jeebies.
My pity party is over some perfume I ordered on the internet directly from the manufacturer because I hadn't been able to find it locally. It's a lavender eau de parfum that I really love and have been using for a while. The scent is warm, sweet and enticing, with notes of cinnamon and vanilla, and I'm positively addicted to it.
Recently the manufacturer announced that they have changed both the packaging and the formula. My old bottle was nearly empty, so I ordered the new stuff, and it arrived today. Much to my disappointment, the new version is just awful. It smells cheap and nasty, like a disinfectant, spray cleaner or insect repellent. They obviously used cheaper, synthetic ingredients. The word "lavender" doesn't even appear on the ingredients list. Luckily the manufacturer will take it back for a credit or exchange, and even more luckily, I was able to find a bottle of the original on eBay.
Woe is me as I have smacked my knee on the trucks trailer hitch. No one is here to kiss it.....
hope your boo boo feels better now.
