I am having a Luau party on Sunday, and am planning a bunch of games (as long as Gustav doesn't give us rain). For the kids I have: *egg drop (walk with an egg balancing on the spoon), *spinning donut (tie a donut on a rope, the kids have to put their hands behind their backs and be the first one able to eat the donut as it's spinning, without it falling on the ground), a scavenger hunt, darts, water balloons, musical chairs, potato sack races, water guns, Dance Dance Revolution, 2 playstation 2s, 1 XBOX 360, and a small pool.

The kids are taken care of. But for the adults, besides regular drinking games . I know that I am going to have them participate in a potato sack race and musical chairs, and some of them definitely want to try the Dance Dance revolution....and of course I'll have horseshoes...but what other games/contests could I have them do?

Thanks!

How about that adult game that was popular in the '70s...where everyone placed their keys in a bowl? Actually Pictionary can be a lot of fun.

Something tells me that was not the kind of party she was thinking of .

The last dinner party I went to (adults only) we played a game called Guesstures and it was a lot of fun - and physical too!

Spinball! Where you set up a basic ball-diamond on the lawn, and have the batter spin around "X number of times" with their head on the bat before stepping up to a T-Ball post and hit the ball... then TRY to run to first base.

Or make it a Dizzy Bat relay race. (Some people do the Dizzy Bat game with alcohol...Don't think I would want to clean that mess up. )

A bunch of half drunk adults? Badminton with no net, just a line on the grass.

Blindfolded.

With coaches on the sidelines yelling at them with directions to where the bird is and who should be swing where, etc. Use those soft baseball bats (I think that's what they are) instead of a racquet.
