Yes, just wish it had been sooner.

Well Congrats to the Navy Seals!! Continued prayers for our military and I sure hope he doesn't have a lot of supporters, there are a few.

While this won't bring back the people lost on 9 -11 maybe it will bring a sense of justice and closure to those who lost loved ones.

It turns out that the tactical team that was put together for the operation was composed of members of each branch of our military. That was a nice touch!
Thanks to them ~ and thanks, President Barack Obama! I am very proud today!

Never Forget and always be vilgilant. Bin Laden may be dead but there is always someone who will take his place in the horrible world of terrorism.
I'm also glad they got him and to show the world we never give up and never back down.
God bless America!!

Heard it this morning when I turned on the TV. Deepest appreciation to the intelligence community, any informants, our military strategists and the Navy Seal team who were the "boots on the ground".

Well done!!!

I have very mixed feelings about this. Of course it gives some closure, but the victory is shallow. Bin Laden was in renal failure for years. A dying man with a cause is more powerful after death than before. He likely anticipated his own demise, did on his on terms knowing it is better for him to die the glorious death of a martyr and fuel the holy war than to die of natural causes as a feeble sick old man. I guess my concern is that this may escalate terrorism. One thing history has taught us is a fool with a cause is dangerous. I mean Bush had an ax to grind... and American blood is still being spilled till today. Well these middle east extremist yet have an ax to grind too. And Americans would do well to remember this while dancing the victory dance and patting each other on the back God Bless America and our troops!

They're also saying that one of Bin Laden's sons was also killed in the military operation.

Besides the September 11th, 2001 attacks, we also have to remember all the other attacks on US targets that happened while Bin Laden was the leader of Al Qaeda, the February 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, the US Embassy bombings in August of 1998, and let's not forget the attack on the USS Cole in October of 2000 while it was harbored at a port in Yemen.

Let's hope no other targets that belong to the United States, or any other friendly country, fall victim to any terrorist attacks.

God Bless America, and God Bless all of our Military men and women, and may God protect them in every spot in the world.
