Good morning!!!

What is the farthest you have traveled away from home for a:
Wedding ? I used to DJ and the farthest one was about 45 minutes.
Funeral ? My father's was about an hour and a half away.
Job Interview ? About a half an hour when I lived on the east end of LI.
Family reunion ? None for me...but I did go to a friend's family reunion about 3-4 hours away in upstate NY
Class reunion ? Never

What was the most unusual or unique question you were every asked during a job interview ? I can't remember..that was too long ago. I do remember when my ex and I were trying to find a church to get married in...one of the minister's told me I would have to excuse my husband if he had any indiscretions Yeah right..and no that fool didn't marry us. That was my ex's family church...really how can you go to a church like that with a pig in charge

When was your last "flibbertigibbet" moment ? I am always doing more than one thing at once and I don't do each task well when I do that. So it has most likely happened very recently and usually in the kitchen. The last one was burning hubby's toast(our toaster doesn't pop p), while I was making something else. I had to scrape it

How many or our QOTD family remember "Schoolhouse Rock" ? Not really. I remember the name but not the show.

Did you have a favorite ? I guess not...see above

I'm not planning a trip to Texas but we all have to do taxes I guess I misread that, lol.

Happy Thursday!!!

Today's Question(s):
What is the farthest you have traveled away from home for a:
Wedding? ~500 miles.
Funeral? ~70 miles.
Job Interview? 29 miles.
Family reunion? Never had a family reunion. Not enough family.
Class reunion? Never attended one of these.

Bonus Question:
Speaking of Job interviews
What was the most unusual or unique question you were ever asked during a job interview? Ahhhh, that stupid, stupid question: "Where do you see yourself five years from now?"

Inquiring Minds Question:
When was your last "flibbertigibbet" moment? Happens to me probably a few times a week.

Extra Credit Question:
How many or our QOTD family remember "Schoolhouse Rock"? Funny you should ask this. I listen to a family-friendly comedy station on XM radio, and they sometimes stick in Schoolhouse Rock songs between the comedy bits.
Did you have a favorite? Yep. "Electricity."

Just for Fun:
On yesterday's QOTD when you read rainroosty's answer to
"Just for Fun:
Who has started getting things organized for Texas ?
I think Texas is doing fine without any help from me."

(lol I know I can't be the only one and I typed the question )

Today in History:
1838 - Samuel Morse made 1st public demonstration of telegraph
1914 - Stock brokerage firm of Merrill Lynch founded
1963 - "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" with Marlin Perkins premiers on NBC Used to love this program.
1973 - "Schoolhouse Rock," premieres on ABC-TV with Multiplication Rock
1975 - "Wheel Of Fortune," debuts on NBC-TV I still watch this if I happen to be home when it's on. I'm pretty good at solving the puzzles. Have no idea if I could do it there at the studio, though, with a live audience and cameras all over the place. I'd probably be a bumbling idiot!

Word of the Day:
flibbertigibbet\FLIB-ur-tee-jib-it\ , noun;
1. A silly, flighty, or scatterbrained person

Today is:
Epiphany or Twelfth Night I will take down my Christmas decs tonight.
National Shortbread Day I love shortbread.
Bean Day I love beans. The musical fruit. The more you eat.....
Schoolhouse Rock Day These are some great songs - informative and really good music.
Cuddle Up Day Wish I had a S.O. to cuddle with.....
National Smith Day - Give everyone with the name of Smith a hug on this day. Hmmm, I don't think I'll be around any Smiths today.

Happy Thursday, everyone!
