Today's Question(s):

What is the farthest you have traveled away from home for a:

Wedding ?

Long Island to Delaware

Funeral ?

Florida to Long Island by way of Maryland. In Florida when I heard. Flew home to Maryland then drove to Long Island.

Job Interview ?

Eastern Long Island to NYC

Class reunion ?

Eastern Long Island to Middle Long Island

Bonus Question:

Speaking of Job interviews

What was the most unusual or unique question you were every asked during a job interview ?

Never asked a unique or unsusual question but the hardest question for me was always "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" I feel it limits the chances you have to accept freak opportunities by pigeon holing yourself in some 5 year work game plan. I'm pretty anal about planning trips but loosey goosey about work opportunities. I moved on when I was bored not for some power/money goal.

Inquiring Minds Question:

When was your last "flibbertigibbet" moment ?

I have them frequently usually after I put something in a safe place and attempt to remember that safe place later.

Extra Credit Question:

How many or our QOTD family remember "Schoolhouse Rock" ?

Conjunction Junction is a favorite.

Yesterday I mentioned the closet I have been emptying of computer stuff in anticipation of putting Mrs. Tek's craft supplies in it and said I should take a picture. I did. Here's a great way to add storage! It is four small bookcases and four single shelve units stacked two high. The pictures you see are mirrored on the other side so there is twice as much shelving as you can see. The center set will hold six computers. I also added a second shelf 12 inches above the standard at the top to double storage there. I add the second shelf to all closets. In case you are wondering the speakers really
are for a Windows 95 PC. It's one Mrs Tek plays all her older games on.

One can only marvel at the discipline it takes to weigh the same today as one did 35 years ago....and still have the same youthful energy. (Yes, I know cosmetic surgery helps but there is a limit to what cosmetic surgery can do.)
