My barber just retired after cutting hair for over 60 years. I am now looking for a new barber, but it seems to be easier to find a new dentist than a new barber.
I get peeved if I have to pay a lot of money and get a lousy cut! It really is hard to find a good barber. These days I cut my own hair. I just snap on a #3 or #4 attachment to the trimmer and start mowing hair, then trim the rest without the attachments...easy as pie and I save money doing it.
Yeah,,, professionals and get paid to cut, style or tint your hair. Need I say more?
This has to be a big peeve of the majority of the public having a “bad hair day”! Don’t get me started on my barber and how he cuts hair, it takes a week and a half for things to start to look normal again.
.
Hmm... Am I qualified to post anything here? While some may have a Bad Hair Day every once in a while, I've had a No Hair Day ever since July of 2002..
OH yeah, do u know how much a kid hair cut is at the barber my kid goes to- $25 for a basic no extra's not even a part. It cost more to go to a less educated beautician than is does to see a doctor and typically the beautician takes longer to get to u. Peeved!!! Indeed I am and while I am venting I will throw in the high cost of feminine hygiene products- 36 in a box over $7 bucks at Walmart. I couldn't believe it. Well I could go on cause I am trying to calm down from road rage and the no knowing how to drive snowbirds and the others who must have gotten their driver's license out of a cracker-jack box. Please excuse me until I can find my kind sweet self underneath all this peeving steam. Great peeve AkserbeN

But.... you are so good lookin, Mike, You don't even need hair! It's over-rated.
Those of us not so blessed need every strand and need them done right. Those pesky hair stylists! (No offense intended to all of you talented stylists who are reading this thread! This has nothing to do with your tested skills. )
It's amazing how many in this city don't know how to do these properly. Anytime I'm in Mexico, I always get one before I leave, as they seem to know how to do these perfectly, no matter where I've gone to get one.

Well now, here in the backwoods a person has to be careful....most barbers give the same style cut to their customers. The men around here all look about the same when it comes to their hair.
Women past a certain age seem to have these tight little curls all over their head. Granny look. Not my hairdresser is a dream. I go about twice a year for a perm and take care of my hair myself the rest of the thyme. I have had some really bad haircuts in the past. Really bad!!! And it was a hairdresser in St. Louis, not here in the boondocks!!!
