Good morning peevers.

Welcome to my favourite month, though looking outside at the moment with a stiff shower coming down you wouldn't think it.

By the way, remember how I kept banging on about all that rain last month? It turned out to be the wettest April in over a hundred years!

It was dry for a while yesterday and I waited for the grass to dry out a bit so that I could cut it for the first time in ten days. You can guess the next bit....

So, my dear peevers, tell us about when it 'rained on your parade' because the POTD is;

Raining at an inopportune moment.

I'm beginning to think there is no inopportune moment. We need rain! Our parades ended over the weekend and still no rain! Well my 37th anniversary came and went without fanfare. May is here so we can all hope for the best!

The only time it rains for me is when I wash the car, maybe twice a year.

Looks like it'll be raining today and tomorrow - interfering with my planned 5 or so mile walk outside.

Didn't rain on my parade but scared the bejezus out of me. A few years back I was showing property about 45 minutes by boat from Isla Colon. Shortly after we started heading back to town the heavens opened up and it started pouring. Was pitch black and thank God the driver had GPS. Bad enough navigating through all of the mangrove islands in the dark, but with sheets of rain coming down visibility was nil. Arrived safe, but soaked and cold.
