In the spirit of Halloween, today’s pet peeve will be about trick or treaters.
I’m talking about the ones that are way too old to trick or treat and don’t even bother dressing up. They show up at your door with regular clothes on, no mask and holding a pillowcase for their candy!! I always ask them “Where’s your costume?”
These are the little ghosts and goblins that I like seeing on Halloween night!!

For Halloween, I always hope that the young parents bring the little kids around early so that they can get their goodies ... and then the temperature falls about 35 degrees and the rain starts so that the high school kids just stay home.

LOL...We think alike! I tried to rep you, but the "love" must be spread around first.
I had an epiphany last halloween, I worked in a neighborhood with tons of trick or treaters and so many were overweight and breathing hard and couldn't hardly walk up the street. I couldn't believe it!! And...some of them just stick out their bag and don't even say anything and don't say thank-you. Oh don't get me started!!
When I had them coming around, I'd give them an apple or granola bar not candy. Needless to say they weren't pleased, but that's what they'd get for horning in on the younguns fun. Course I was also the mom who hid 99% of the candy my DS got trick or treating - waaaaaaaaay too much sugar. He'd always wonder the next day because he could have sworn he snagged a lot more
OH and just an adorable picture of the kids, Tex! What an "Ahhhhhhhhhh" moment
