Actually my peeve is the opposite. I don't get parents (dressed normal) who carry their 'baby' (dressed in costume) trick or treating. I don't forsee a nine month old chewing on an Air Head or Gobstopper!

I don't know. I think teens really enjoy Halloween and all the candy for school the next few days. I just give out candy to whoever comes to the door until I run out.

TX girl that is the cutes pic of babies in those costumes... Well now I am totally peeved and with u that kind "trick" - it certainly is not a treat. Especially when they come to your door and just hold the pillow case open and don't say anything to u, but speak to each other in a language u don't understand. I have views on children going door to door begging candy of strangers, it is just a huge safety issue... and the festivities should be done in the right setting. But that is just my opinion. Don't come to my door and u won't be disappointed

Love the little ones and I love when you open the door they march right in. Cracks me up. Believe it or not we get close to 200 here. A little less last year.

The older ones are a little intimidating but usually on our street when you get that lull when the little ones have all gone home to start their sugar buzz we all wait about 15-20 minutes and shut off our porch lights.

Love that pic Tex!

Awwww......they're so cute. I love little Trick or Treaters like that.

Pfffft on the older ones who don't bother to dress up.

It's rare that any trick or treaters come by so I'm not concerned or worried about it.

It is the ones that don't dress up just come with a pillow case, just stare at you and don't bother to say thank you. Those are the ones I have a problem with.
We do get some teens here but they are really trick or treating with their friends. The others do scare me.

In keeping with yesterday's peeve...if they're old enough to use colorful language they shouldn't be trick or treating!

I give them candy IF they are in costume--if not, I don't answer the door when I see them!
