Funny mentioning babies and them recognizing scents, especially their moms. I really felt sorry for my DS dad because he would go to hold him and DS would just start crying. Then I'd take him and he'd snuggle into my neck and stop. I had to explain to his dad it's just a 'mom thing'. After all we had them inside of us for 9 months - well in my case longer than that, but babies know their mama.
Then I guess hungry babies really aren't confused at a wet t-shirt contest.
I guess everyone but me. I've been told by many people that I have no sense at all.
Don't worry studedude, you're not alone. My wife is smell-blind too. She can't even smell when our dog takes a crap. The only way she knows is if she sees it. I told her that's okay, between the two of us, I can tell her when he crapped and she can tell me where it is so I don't step in it.
