yup, ive got a few 'science projects' in mine, havent cleaned it out yet this month.my dad puts weird things in the fridge, we have three fridges,one is a gas fridge belive it or not, he puts things like walnuts,almonds,nuts into glass jars, ok, i can look at that and tell what it is..but he has glass jars with weird looking NOT DRUGS powder, he says its yeast for baking.ok..but if the jar is something you canned yourself that is older than me,( im 43,hes 85) then its got to go..it just does..lol
I know at my old apt there was some fermented home made wine that my roommate said the previous guy left. I lived there for 2 years, maybe had 2 sips and am letting the next guy inherit it
As for my present fridge, the people that let me rent a room in their house probably wouldn't appreciate me snooping through their things (I've lived here only 2 weeks) but in my corner there's beer. Lots of it
Okay I just went and looked. Found some vanilla yogurt expired June 2010, not too bad and some apples that need to be thrown out. It's pretty empty right now!
