I don't want to post this in the food section, BC it will take away folks appetites. But what do you think is the worst bad smell that you can get in your refrigerator?

I vote- turkey carcass that was saved for soup at Christmas, but got pushed to back until tonight........

I'm a clean freak and actually enjoy cleaning....but the one thing I really don't like to do is to clean out the fridge. I have found some really creepy stuff lost in some butter dish size I thought was a good idea to save. The worst one was some left over calm soup.

I won't open a container if I don't remember what's in it. Lets just say Ii go threw a lot of containers. Just about anything that's spoiled makes me gag.

LOL,,,, I just took our carcass out of the freezer this weekend to make soup on Sunday. We're enjoying it very much. Best part of having a turkey is the carcass but I always wrap it in aluminum and freeze it that same day of cooking and carving it.

However the bad odors in my refrigerator seems to be a container of cottage cheese that got pushed to the back. PU that's ugly.

Next turkey I make, I will remember the last step with the carcass- freeze!

I think the stink goes away from cottage cheese once that pretty, green velvet beard finally covers it.

We still have leftover lasagna from Christmas in our fridge. I haven't noticed a stench yet. Guess I should get rid of it before I do!

I know this doesn't meet the criteria, but to me, a spoiled potato's the worst!

Uncooked rancid chicken is the worst smelling thing I've ever had in my fridge. I even had to throw away the plastic container I had it in away.

I'm prone to science projects like a lot of people. But I think the worst smell was blood that made its way from the bottom shelf into underneath the bottom bin. For the first few days I thought I detected a bad smell in the refridge but couldn't "see" it when I peered inside.

When I came home from work days later, and the smell was worse, I pulled out the bins and saw the drying pools of blood. Took awhile to clean it. Gross.
