I'm looking to move out of NY/NJ and heard that Lake Mary has good schools. Can someone tell me if all LM students go to one highschool or if there are good/bad areas that get split? Also, I was looking at some real estate and all the homes around $350k have beautiful pools but theyre all covered with screens. I know mosquitos are in FL and everywhere for that matter - but whats up with the screens? are they that bad?

Thanks for the honest advice!

Lake Mary schools are good, but just b/c you live in Lake Mary doesn't mean you will be zoned for them. You can go on the school website and type a specific address in and find out what schools you're zoned for.

As for mosquitos, yes they get bad here in the evening and night once it warms up. Most homes with pools have a screened in enclosure.

Isn't the screen also to keep out animals, leaves, etc?

I agree with beckycat, if you're looking at websites without an agents input check the school zoning first if LM Schools are a criteria before you decide to put on your 'To Visit List'.

Also if you want to use your pool at night screens are mans (and pets) best friend, they're not so bad you can't go to the grocery at night just love coming to family outings at night.

Hope this helps,
