Where is the best place to get fresh produce? I have been to Publix. I would like a better selection and maybe some local produce. We are moving in on 12/27. Up here in NY we have a lot of Korean markets that have great produce at lower prices. Anything like that down in Lake Mary? Are there any farm stands west of us? If so are they seasonal?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Also...can you answer the same question about local seafood? For a state that is surrounded on three sides by water...I haven't seen many seafood stores.

Yep! There is a place right in downtown Lake Mary that has opened! It's called Morris's in the new shops on Fourth St. at the corner of Lake Mary Blvd.right near city hall. He also sets up a booth every Saturday with the other vendors in front of his store for the Lake Mary Farmer's Market too. It's great to buy all the fresh produce, and mingle with the people too. Welcome to the area! I am orginally from Westchester, NY myself.

Just going to mention these. There's also a nice farmer's market in Sanford on Saturdays.

There is a great seafood place across the street from farmers market. It's called Lighthouse seafood, it's open 6 days a week, and closed Mondays. It's the freshest place to buy seafood in the Lake Mary area. It's in the shopping center behind 7-11 on Lake Mary Blvd. and country club Rd.
