I recently attended the Watson Real Estate School. It was a 5 week course that met 3x per week (4 hours per night). I went to every class and did all the homework and passed the State exam on my very first time.

I think the cost is $150 and that includes your text book.

If you are interested, call Wayne @ 407-722-3696.

Good luck!

There is one on Semoran near the 408, called SCORE they are a good place and will bend over backwards to help you pass. They are competative and have many other courses besides Real Estate 101.... brokers , and several orthers. Victor has been in RE for some time and his mother .forever. They have lots of experience.
Good Luck .... read each question twice , answer once...

SCORE is a great school, I went there for a mtg broker's license, the instructor was VERY knowledgeable in all area's of the RE business. However before I knew about them IFREC is where I got my RE license. IFREC has classroom space all over and I thought they did a great job.

I liked IFREC as well, less personable I thought. I did my agent license there and brokers at SCORE. Yes I am a broker, despite the title and yes I use the license.

Not to be snarky, but why on earth would you want to get into real estate in this day and age? NOTHING is selling. Real estate jobs are commission only, and you'll go broke paying for gas to ferry out-of-state buyers around who are just looky-looing and never buy anything. Even the European buyers have gone away. I don't expect this market to correct for at least another 2-3 years.

Their economy is faltering as well, I doubt that cash cow will last much longer. Three deals in my neighborhood have fallen through in the past month. One to Americans, cash buyers who lost so much in the market that they could not longer buy the house, and two Europeans, one who got cold feet and the otehr because they also lost too much in the market to coplete the deal.

Sales were up 17% compared to last year November. But only the great deals (or should I say "steals" ) are selling.
