Central Florida is not known for its Hi-Tech high paying jobs, however if you have a good degree, I would suggest applying at the high end resorts(The Ritz,The Waldorf, etc.) pretty decent wages: $70k and up.
Now, I've lived in Hunter's Creek for over two years, not one complaint whatsoever: great schools, shopping and restaurants. But the most important matter for me was the safety of my family and I've got to say I'm very pleased. You see all neighbors send their kids to tennis or raquet ball lessons every evening at the local parks.
Taxes as of 2010 are about $2500 a year and HOAs are around $55-$60 a month.
Great community.

There are actually plenty if you are in the Computer Science and/or IT profession. They are just mainly working for Disney, or in research parks by UCF and Lake Mary. There are a lot of these types of positions coming to many of the businesses that will populate Lake Nona/Medical City. I think this field is the exception because Orlando definitely lacks in the corporate jobs.
