Hello all - first-time poster/long-time lurker. I was leary for a while to join in, due to the high emotional levels and alleged ulterior motives for wild posts & responses. Looks like the moderators are working on this, so I'm jumping in.

Here goes....

How is Hunter's Creek with respect to an overall trend - i.e., is it relatively stable with respect to upkeep, safety, etc.? Or, is it getting old and going downhill? DD is considering an apartment there. We've driven through a couple of times on past vacations, and it seemed nice.

There are only two things I dislike about HC:

1. Village inn has closed

2. Texas Roadhouse has closed

Hunter's Creek is still beautiful and very safe.
Lots of activities therein. Dog parks, lakes to walk around, parades for holidays, farmer's market on Saturdays, pristine, manicured landscaping, jazz concerts and friendly neighbors.

I say, go for it.
