I have ONE day to spend there and I want to know which park I should go visit? I wish I had more time (maybe later) but I want to have fun... I would like recommendations and where I should buy my tickets or if there is a way to get some discounts... Thanks in advance!! And the reps come later!

If you want the most pure Disney experience, I would go to Magic Kingdom. You can enjoy the classic rides, watch the Main Street Electrical Parade and then the Summer Nightastic Fireworks, which are really wonderful.

It really depends on what you like, though. If you love movies and more intense rides, Hollywood Studios is great for that. If you love exotic animals you should check out Animal Kingdom. If you are interested in science and world cultures, Epcot may be the best choice. But really, with Disney you can't really go wrong at any park

What do you like to do? Are you looking for amusement rides (Magic Kingdom), movie rides (MGM), seeing animals (Animal Kingdom), or visiting different countries (Epcot)?

If it's your first time, I'd say Magic Kingdom to get the Disney feel.

You can find tickets on Ebay or Craigslist. Just make sure they meet you at the gate if you buy off CL.

As an adult, the coolest park in my opinions is Animal Kingdom. If you are traveling with kids, Magic Kingdon is the place to go. I have a feeling if you visit any of the parks while kids are on summer break, you will spend most of your time in lines and sweating. In a perfect world, Januarish is fantastic Disney weather. I would also suggest booking a lunch at Crystal Palace if you decide on Magic Kingdom. It is a really good buffet with Pooh Bear and his friends.

If this is your first time ever going then I definitely would recommend Walt's original park...Magic Kingdom.

Thanks... it seems Magic Kingdom will be the place... I notice that in Florida, like the "visitors bureau" and billboards have advertising for "discount" tickets... also I see the Welcome Center at the borders advertising this as well... does anyone know if they really are discount tickets??

Not sure what they sell at visitors center, but beware of discount tickets because many of them involve sitting through a three hour tour of a timeshare etc. With only 1 day I would just buy it from Disney.
If coming this summer be sure to get to the park early and stay for the parade and fireworks. They are awesome.

Magic Kingdom is a good choice. It's by far the most crowded park, but it's classic Disney and everyone should experience it. I don't know if you will find discounted tickets for a 1-day pass anywhere. Those are usually on multi-day passes. You can try Ebay or Craigslist, but just be sure the ticket is legit. Some people might try to sell you the last day of a multi-day pass and that will not work. Any sort of multi-day pass is locked to the original user if they have been used even once. You need an unusued single-day pass. Have fun!!

Those things are mostly timeshare companies that will want you to sit on a long presentation for their product. Then they will "gangsta" you into buying a timeshare. If you buy one, you're screwed. People have trouble giving them away.

I think a lot depends on what you like and how old you are.
We like Epcot and we range from 45-63 but we are also party people.
Also love MGM (Hollywood Studios).
Just my 2 cents.

You might also want to post this question on the Disboards.com.
They are everything Disney!!!
