Who do you think you will be voting for out of these 3? I WOULD be voting for Daub, but I'm not of age, because of all he did for Omaha in the 90's and early 2000's, and I hope he can do it again.

I can't vote either since I'm in Sarpy County, but if I were I would vote for Hal. He's a tough personality to work with and you better get out of his way when he has an idea - but he knows how to get things done and is a big thinker and sees Omaha as a progressive town. I believe he would keep big ideas going that help drive economic development and attract large investment and employers...

I will NOT be voting for Daub. A republican Mayor would only make it more simple for the state to repeal our split delegate voting system. Besides, Daub has a bit of a creepy quality to him. So far I don't see much of anyone I like.

The mayor doesn't have anything to do with the split system, so it would be no harm.

hardly. While he doesn't have direct influence, he would certainly make it much easier for a republican agenda to rule in Omaha. I just can't stand to have a GOP yes man at the helm of a city that deserves better.

I also in the county that is Sarpy will not be voting, but I really don't like any of them. Its just the same faces everytime! Omaha needs a fresh young ambitious character who'll make the city a vibrant place to live visit and grow in. The city council seems to have the same wrinkly people every time around. I, for how little my oponion may be worth, think that Omaha needs to not be Omaha somewhere in middle america and more like yeah I think I'd rather live there than New York or L.A., it may be smaller, but theres no lack in the "alive" factor (people enjoy living there). I think thats what needs to be accomplished.

As a future police officer, I'd have to go with Daub since he did alot of good for OPD, but alas I cannot vote either as I still live in Florida.

There's nothing wrong with Daub if you can get past the creepy narcissism.
He's done a lot of good for Omaha in the past and also brings a young vibrant quality with new ideas for an old boy.

Not voting for him simply based on his political party is the same bull**** that is going on everyday in Washington. People need to get over that crap.

Daub is a creep. I think the gay vote should go to Suttle.

Jim Suttle is a functional retard. I have met him on many occasions and spoke with him many times and I'm convinced he has a learning disability or something. I've been in meetings with him and he's had to have things explained to him, very slowly, about what it is we're talking about.

Calling him functionally retarded may be a little extreme but he is very incoherrent and spacey.

I will be voting for Daub. I've known him since I was in grade school and his right political leanings aside, he is an awesome Mayor. He's the one who got Omaha rolling in the right direction and all of the major civic and developmental success stories in Omaha can be directly attributed to Hal Daub.

And for being a Republican he is very gay friendly. He realizes it's those people who are often the first ones to move into more run down areas and fix them up.

If you want to keep Omaha progressive and moving forward in the right direction, and not vote for a do-nothing panty waist chicken little who has nothing more to run on than being "though" on crime. Crime is bad but there are many other issues ($$$) facing our city right now and Hal has proven to be an effective leader in the past so if you care about Omaha than vote for Hal.
