I would have been more comfortable with Daub but Suttle can do good too, I hope.

Are you sure (Yes, I know you're just posting a link)? The last news report I saw (5 minutes ago) said that they absentee ballots hadn't been counted.

I don't think they would do this unless they were sure, but I hope your right.

Yes, the absentee ballots still have to be counted according to the news.

I hope that in the morning we wake to news that Suttle is NOT the new mayor of Omaha.

He will be a simple twiddle-his-thumbs do-nothing wishy washy ass who will never take a stand on any issue and let Omaha slide toward mediocrity again. I'm sad for Omaha.

What a great day for Omaha!!! Voters picked the right man! And I helped his campaign!

To Hal: When you burn bridges, you burn ballots, too!

Suttle has been picked and for what? Exactly what credentials would make hima better Mayor than Daub? NONE. I really think a majority of the people who voted for Suttle don't have a ****ing clue why.

This statement in the OWH this morning:

Quote:
Suttle said he would begin to analyze the city's finances over the next few weeks, and he promised to give Omahans an honest report.
Does that imply that as a City Councilman he did not analyze the finances and wasn't honest with Omahan's? Council people aren't in the dark regading city finances. A curious statement.
