www.omahapaintcrew.com applies a clear coating to bridges and buildings so that graffiti wont stick. very frustrating to taggers. i wish the city would do more business with us.

I just posted a graffiti question on the Atlanta forum the other day. Read the responses, if interested.

Here in Boston, I stepped out of an upscale bakery caf tonight and noticed their sign hanging on a pole was tagged, as is Harvard University's student health building sign next door. I'll often tell a counter person/cashier, but they can't be expected to care -- and some young folk don't see it as a problem, it seems.

If these places don't wipe it off, how can poor mom and pop immigrant stores be expected to? Lived in Omaha in '66 and '70 in grade school. Disappointed, but not surprised, about your graffiti problem.

This is rediculoous! Just make the punishment fit the crime, don't tax our american citizens!

Tagging should be filed as 'hate crimes' because it has less to do with supposed gangs and everything to do with a certain ethnic minority which doesn't care to take part in the american way of life.

Graffiti occurs when the youth of an area feel society has no place for them now or in the future.

Here in Wisconsin it is prevalent in Milwaukee, virtually unknown elsewhwere.

No justice, no peace.

I pretty sure that HappyGoLucky was either A) kidding or B) didn't know what he was talking about.

I have been noticing it in $500,000+ neighborhoods. It really is so juvenile.
