we should focus on a bus route between oakview and westroads mall

or a bus route from westroads mall down west maple road out to 168th and west maple

before we start on a skywalk.
You never know, it could be one of those "build it and they will come" things. Giving people a stress-free way to access the mall from the transit center may be an incentive to ride the bus and to go to Westroads so I feel like it would be a win-win for the mall and Metro. It wouldn't be a costly feature and it wouldn't come out of tax payers' pockets, unless Metro built it, which I actually don't see happening. I think Westroads ought to build it so they can attract more shoppers. But, there is also that truth that the majority of the buses that use Westroads TC, don't use it on the weekends. So maybe that would help, along with a couple new routes. I'd like the see the Westroads-Oakview route before the West Maple one. It'd be a half hour long route and I could see it being of the caliber of route 1, maybe a little more used, so I could see it running an hourly, all-day schedule.

i too would be supportive of the oakview-westroads route more than a west maple.

to get to 15 now, I gotta walk a mile or so east over to catch 3 down on 40th street and then catch the 15 a few minutes later.

with a oakview-westroads route, I could take the 4 and than the 12 (suggested route number for new route)

here's how I would have it,

it starts at westroads, goes down regency parkway, goes down pacific out west to 132nd and goes to west center and 132nd and then goes to oakview mall and then turns around.

would be able to connect to 15 route at both 132nd and center (no frills corner) and at oakview mall

btw: with what is happening with SE corner of 132nd and pacific, having a bus route down pacific might be good idea.

Right, the new developers of the old golf course are working with metro to provide bus service. It's pretty high on their list of priorities, to my knowledge.
