I'll bet the following is great. The Pauls Valley area is full of pecan trees.

18.Field's "World's Best” pecan pie, prepared in Pauls Valley, available at grocery stores, www.fieldspies.com.

The best of southern cuisine can be found in Oklahoma: BBQ (the best IMO...and I've eaten it EVERYWHERE), pan fried chicken, fried catfish (yum), chicken fried steak, chicken & dumplins, okra (c'mon now, all ya'll know Okies love their okra), summer squash, sweet potato pie...and don't forget the desserts....pecan pie, any number of cream pies, and homemade banana pudding. Oh boy, now I'm really getting hungry.

I have lived here all of my life and only heard about chocolate gravy a few years ago. Never tried it. Will have to see if I can find a decent recipe.

"chocolate gravy" recipe - Google Search

My Nana's chocolate gravy is the BEST! I haven't had it in forever. I'll have to get the recipe from her and pass it on. Biscuits and chocolate gravy, mmmm.....

Also, biscuits and whipped cream. My husband had never heard of that one until we got together. Once I finally got him to try it, he loved it. (Poor soul, actually thought whipped cream was the stuff you squirted out of a can. Such a shame.)

Wow, I've been here for years, and I've only heard of a few things on that list! And I've actually eaten only one or two. Perhaps I need to travel around the state a bit more

Some of the better suggestions on the list IMO: Braum's Ice Cream, Headcountry BBQ sauce (world champion), and Coit's Drive In....all standard Okie commodities. One of the things left off of the list that should be on it: Del Rancho Steak Sandwich....now there's a meal that will make you go slap your grandma!

Oh yeh, I definitely could do without the lamb/calf fries for obvious reasons.
