metro, you are a really decent person. Of course, 99.9 percent of the people in Iowa are salt of the earth folks and Des Moines is a perfectly beautiful city. Thank you so much for visiting the Oklahoma forum; you are ALWAYS welcome my friend.

Hi kids!

Thanks for all the kind wishes.

You guys have been great and I can't wait to live amongst all y'all.

My gut's doing OK for now and the pneumonia seems to be getting under control.
I've actually gotten a few hours of sleep the last 2 nights!

I'm off to work this morning...
Hope I don't fall on my face.

I'm going to FORCE myself not to over do it this time.
I have a heck of a time keeping myself down whenever I begin to feel human.

Short of another relapse, I expect to be back here regularly by the weekend.
Enjoy the quiet while you can!

Thanks again folks!

M.

I survived work today, but I'm feeling pretty rundown about now.
I love to take a nap, but I'm afraid it will take away from my sleep tonight.

It was good to get out though!

Looks like I'm back.... (So far at least...)

Hope you enjoyed the peace and quiet while it lasted.

Thanks everyone!

CG, it's so good to see that you're back and feeling somewhat better. That pneumonia can be an awful thing. DH has had problems with it and it's actually pretty serious. But I don't have to tell YOU that.

Just take it easy and get lots of naps and plenty of fluids and I don't mean beer either.

I don't believe that anyone here actually enjoyed the peace and quiet that you're referring to.

Mmmm..... Beeeeeeeer.....

That DOES sound like a good idea....
But I think it might exacerbate the problem with my gut... Doh!
(Gonna have to pass on that for a while.)

Thanks!
