That's a grown man's hand in the pic. It's from about 9:15 this morning in Stillwater.

Default Country mailbox

Another Hughes County pic. We seem to post the majority of the digital pics on this state forum. Hate to flood the okie forum with pics, but some of these are just too cool not to share.

This one is out in the country, east of Holdenville, OK.

I wonder if I could teach Lola to do that... she loves being out where she can graze on the fresh grass (the grass inside the fence isn't as green, it seems), but so far she's broken 2 ropes, a snap, and just this morning her halter. I'm about to get a lariat and tie it around her neck!

Cherokee, your pics are beautiful and that area is SO nice. Our original intentions were to go down and take the drive, but unfortunately we drove around Poteau too long while sightseeing. I was already car sick and didn't figure I could handle that one.

Cherokee, I loved the big foot picture. Awesome.

Even though my pics appear to be run-of-the-mill and repetitive, they are special because I love being in the country versus a large metro.

My grandfather never left Oklahoma, and I can still see him sitting out there on that tractor plowing fields all day. I know I will never move to a large city, or even into town. I just don't like being around people, except when I CHOOSE to be around people.

Just west of Wewoka.
