More Man Made Climate Change Fail. I thought the "Debate was over", and the "Science was Settled"? If so, why are you still bringing it up?

The fact that conditions there are bad is not evidence that they haven’t or won’t improve. Incidentally, China is what Trump wants the US to be environmentally.

Heck where I live in NW Ohio I recall the droughts we had for years during the 1970's. We haven't had anything like that since. Today everything that happens is reported as having been caused by global warming. Ridiculous.

Much more likely we have an ice age before all the global warming events some are warning about happen.

As always, just my two cents.
Agree 100% JB.

The brainwashing campaign has been going on in the schools and universities for at least a couple of decades. It's turned algore from a dime-a-dozen worth-one-million millionaire to a lying psychopath worth 100 million.

As always, the globaloney warming campaign is about money and power and control. Dumbing down the population makes it easier to accomplish. Many people today cannot reason and they seem unable to seek out various opinions.

No but unlike our current government, they are acknowledging their problems and working to fix things. If for no other reason because they have lost respect globally due to the severity of their pollution. Kind of like how our pollution got so bad in the Factory belt it forced the creation of the EPA which is now deemed unnecessary by so many conservatives.

The Big Lie that man-made climate change is a hoax has one conspicuous flaw. It's estimated that global fossil fuel burning annually releases about 5.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Please explain why this gargantuan amount of pollution has no impact on our environment.

https://www.giss.nasa.gov/research/briefs/matthews_01/

Don't you believe that carbon dioxide levels in the earth's atmosphere are rising relentlessly due to these 5.5 billion metric tons (a metric ton is over 2,200 lbs.) of annual carbon dioxide emissions, and the decreasing ability of nature to absorb this excess carbon dioxide (e.g., given the ongoing demise of carbon dioxide consumers in the global life chain such as ocean corals and even western forests in the U.S.)?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon...photosynthesis

https://news.nationalgeographic.com/...o-environment/

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/featu...t-barrier-reef

Empirical observations show that the oceans are warming and becoming more acidic, both consequences of man-made climate change, with dire implications for oceanic life, especially global fisheries which provide a significant source of human protein. Scientists report that over 90 percent of the excess heat due to man-made climate change since the 1970s has wound up in the oceans.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...tores-of-heat/

https://www.capecodtimes.com/news/20...n-acidificaton

Here's a detailed scientific explanation of ocean acidification and its impacts. Ocean acidification now is considered along with global warming (primarily of the oceans and then, secondarily, the atmosphere) as the "equally evil twin" resulting from man-made climate change.

https://ocean.si.edu/ocean-life/inve...-acidification

Are you aware of ocean acidification? How do you dismiss it as a hoax? Note, according to the above linked Smithsonian web page, that the ocean's acidity has been measured for only 30 years, and the term "ocean acidification" was coined only in 2003, when serious biological studies were initiated given observed changes in the ocean ecosystem.

Marine biologists now warn that ocean acidification could kill off zooplankton that remove vast quantities of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

https://ocean.si.edu/ocean-life/inve...-acidification

Scientists and marine biologists also worry about the impact of ocean acidification on phytoplankton, which provide over half of the world's oxygen supply.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...1201094120.htm

https://www.csmonitor.com/Science/Sc...y-that-matters

Scientists now are warning of natural vicious feedback loops in the environment which could greatly magnify the negative consequences of man-made climate change. E.g., the thawing of Arctic tundra and deep ocean methane clathrates could release massive amounts of methane into the atmosphere (see post 26), greatly accelerating global warming and ice melt.

Now let's consider the reasoning of the world's Greatest Man-Made Climate Change Denier -- President Trump.

In an interview broadcast on CBS' "60 Minutes" on Oct. 14, Trump admitted that climate change was underway, its was NOT a hoax, and that he didn't know what was causing it and didn't know if the cause was man-made, then he made the incredible assertion that nature would heal itself.

I wish the "60 Minutes" interviewer would have asked Trump: 1) what he thought happened to the 5.5 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide released annually into the atmosphere annually as the result of fossil fuel burning; 2) why he could so easily dismiss empirically measured ocean acidification, linked cogently by scientists to excess carbon dioxide absorption by the world's oceans and an already ongoing kill-off of marine life; 3) whether scientists are wrong to worry about the threats ocean warming and acidification collectively pose to marine plankton, which provide much of the world's oxygen.

Perhaps you could answer these questions given your certainty that man-made climate change science is such a hoax.

BTW, as explained above, the brainwashing and dumbing down of Americans about man-made climate change science and the dire consequences of unchecked fossil fuel consumption, let alone increased fossil fuel consumption as promoted by the Trump administration and most Republicans, actually has been accomplished by man-made climate change deniers such as Trump and the billions spent influencing public opinion and capturing the Republican Party by fossil fuel interests such as most notoriously the Koch brothers.
