California. Before that? The arctic circle for 20 years. Yes, I hate winters (but equally hate the hot and humid summers here).

Silly me, thought I was freezing before - now it's frigid and going to get worse - I want to hibernate.

We hit a patch of -82F on the plane coming back from Seoul a few weeks ago. Positive 82 today in Phoenix.

OMG, I was out last night - I felt like I was in Alaska. The air was freezing and the wind was blowing something fierce. I think I might spend this afternoon scouting the Sun-Sentinel for a job.

Made it a block and a half down Wilson Boulevard until I started wishing that Al Gore was actually right.

Ok. When this thread started I didn't really think it was that bad. Today I would have to agree that it is cold. I think if it were the middle or end of January I'd be ok with it, but the fact that it is only Dec. 14 makes it worse. Took the kids outside for recess and lasted about 12 minutes today. It may as well snow if it is going to be cold.

FWIW it was in the low 20s in Florida all week. They had to close the water parks in DisneyWorld because they froze. And chilly even down in the Caribbean.
