Good vs bad weather is very much a personal issue.

I think the VA summers are HORRIBLE. Hot, humid and boring. Others seems to love them. That is good for them

I used to wear longjohns, jeans and skipants, t-shirt, turtleneck and a cardigan...and then a winter jacket beeing a "wee lad" walking to school. VA winters are quite mild to me. Not nearly enough snow. MORE SNOW NOW!!!

I love the cold weather! Bring it on!

What I love most about it is that on a cold Friday or Saturday night, instead of going out, I can get all cozy on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate or tea, and watch movies or read books. I just love that kind of thing.

Ahhhhhh, now today is much more like it! The sun is shining, the sky is blue, people are out walking around again. Amazing how pleasant 34 degrees can feel after a cold night like last night.

Pssst--you can do that in the other seasons too In the summer, my favorite Friday evening activity is reading a book in the rocking chair on my patio with a class of lemonade.

Ah yep, I do that too But this season I love those microfiber blankets wrapped around me, pillows everywhere, and candles lit- oh, and the bear paw slippers on my feet!

I actually don't mind the cold weather. It is winter after all, and after living in New England for 20 years, where the winters are much longer, I find this bearable. In order to put everyone's feelings about the cold in perspective, it would be helpful to find out where everyone lived prior to making the move to NOVA.

I don't mind the cold, it's the WIND that gets me. We were in Williamsburg this past weekend and it was c-o-l-d! My two year old didn't even want to go outside yesterday, but woke up from her nap today insisting we put "shoes on" and go "outsi".

Oh and I'll take Baileys with some coffee please.

I lived in suburban Philadelphia - 2 1/2 hours up I-95 with very similar weather. And I hated the cold there, too.

I think Bailey's and coffee is the preferred drink for those of us that want to get warm
