Can anyone recommend a good urologist in the Scranton area, specifically relating to testicular cancer? Not for me for those of you who know me, but I am doing some research for someone I know.
Thanks in advance!

Wish I could help but I have heard one too many horror stories about the so-called "specialists" in this area and have had a bad experience myself. If anything is wrong I always go to Philly or NYC for a specialist. My family doctor who is local and wonderful won't refer any of his patients locally for the majority of problems because of this issue. University of Pennsylvania Health Care Systems is wonderful. They have some of the top specialists in the country affiliated with them so you may want to take a look there. Good luck to your friend.

Dr. Kohn in Scranton and Waymart. He is with Delta Medix. I have kidney stone disease and some other health issues and he has been very good.

The problem with specialist in the area is there aren't enough of them. It makes for long waits and an overburdened office staff.
