Back Mountain is great!

I lived in Shavertown for a year, and beside the tough travel conditions in winter (read: 1/4 mile dirt driveway uphill) it was really nice.

I'm up around Harvey's Lake on a daily basis - am seriously considering moving back up that way. At least there's fewer floods to worry about!

The only thing I would have to mention is that there is little to nothing for under 21 year olds to do around here. As such, drinking and drugs are a pretty big problems even if you have "good" kids.

I don't know about that. My friends and I were all "good" kids, and we didn't resort to drugs, alcohol, etc. Granted I became sexually active at age seventeen beyond my better judgment, but I'd say that was moreso caving into romantic urges moreso than being "bored." There's actually quite a bit to do in this area. I do wish we had some better clothing stores available though---it's a drag driving all the way to King of Prussia to buy something at Armani Exchange, but at least Dickson City has an Express Men, which is just a tad less trendy! (Now if only I could afford to shop at either store!) LOL!
