We are a young couple with a toddler looking to relocate from NYC to Northeastern PA. Good schools and proximity to NYC is important to us as is safety. We just saw a great house in Pocono Mountain Lake Estates dec 567 and thinking of putting an offer in. However it seems far from the Dingman Delaware schools which are supposed to be best in the area? Also not too sure on the safety there and commute to NYC as well as shopping centers? is this a good, safe community? We don't care for amenities. Any advice is highly appreciated as we do not want to get ourselves into a mess by moving there!
