My son worked with one of the victims when we lived there. His good friend lives next to the ball field and heard the shots. How sad. Thank God I am out of that area!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think it was a hate crime? I got the impression that the victims were involved romantically somehow. Either that or a murder/suicide.

Never mind. I guess that's not really my business nor respectful to the victims...

The younger man has a three month old baby with his girlfriend according to one poster on the Pocono Record. The information in the paper was confusing and only leads to more questions. The two killed worked together and got off at 7 PM. They were killed at about 10 PM in Tobyhanna. They both live in Penn Estates down by Stroudsburg.
I just don't know a good reason why somebody would drive to a deserted park three hours after work? I have suspicions – but I would rather hear from the police.

My condolences to the family and I hope that they catch the shooter/s quick. They were shot multiple times – it doesn't sound like a murder/suicide.

The PMRP Chief said that they went there for a specific reason but he would not indicate what that reason was.

Upon watching the WNEP clip again, you're right--not murder suicide.

Very sad.

I have no information. My son was not in touch with the co-worker after we moved. But I will bet my next paycheck it was drugs. And a car was heard leaving after the shooting so it was not murder/suicide.

It's odd that they wouldn't say that on the news though.

It might be because it is under investigation. They don't want any info out there. In which case, I am gonna shut up. Not that I know anything else. but still.
