Thought I would buy some Amish goods for gifts. We are leaving soon and need something quick and easy, breads and small gifts would be perfect. Any suggestions where I could find something like this?

If you are traveling past any of the following:

Allentown Farmer's Market - Open Thu, Fri, Sat
FairGround Square Farmer's Market, Reading, PA. <- This is one of the best FM I've ever seen for homemade Amish foods.
Green Dragon Market, Epharta, PA - Friday's only
In Center City Philly? Reading Terminal Market, Wed - Sat.

All of the above have several Amish and Mennonite stands where the stuff is clearly homemade.

Benton has a Mennonite population. They have some roadside stands as well.

6th St flea market in Wyoming had 'some' Amish goods. Not sure if they still do now but it's worth a shot!

Get some apple butter, and Ephrata is good, I have relatives near there and they are local. That's where they go for the food deals.

Where did you stop, I'm always interested in these places. How about a report?
